Historical linen clothes

Linen fabrics have been used for thousands of years as a natural fiber. The oldest finds of fragments of linen clothes are even 7000 years old. It is still one of the most popular fabrics and is often used in clothing, bedding and tablecloths, and is also one of the most popular materials used in historical reenactment.

Linen is made from plant fibers and has a long history of being used to make clothing and other items.

It is a very durable material that does not crease easily, making it an ideal choice for underwear. Mainly because it is resistant to washing at high temperatures, and is also resistant to various washing agents.

Linen in everyday fashion

Linen fabrics are most commonly used in summer clothing because they provide a cool feeling when worn and allow air to circulate easily around the body. They are also easy to clean because they are much more resistant to washing agents. Some people also choose linen fabrics because they are pleasant to the skin and do not irritate them when worn directly on the skin.

Colored linen and with different weaves

Linen fabrics in our store come in many different colors, patterns and textures, so everyone will find something for themselves. You can find diamond linen, thin linen , as well as linen and wool blends. Linen comes in both solid colors.

Can linen be dyed with natural dyes?

Linen fibers can be dyed naturally, but the color will not be very intense and will easily fade in the sun.
